  • It is our duty as doctors to always put the well-being of the human being first.
  • Regardless of all the privileges given to us, we should always remember that our primary role is human and medical before any other business, political or any other role.

Social Ethics

  • The right of access to all citizens to healthcare.
  • The right of access to all citizens to education.
  • The right to all citizens to have access to social security and decent retirement.
  • The right to live in a society where discrimination on all levels is inexistent.
  • The right for the disabled to have a normal life with access to the same services, jobs and rights as their fellow citizens.

Political Ethics

  • Freedom of expression is a sacred human right that should never be subject to bargains and negotiations.
  • It is the right for all citizens to live in a society governed by the good implementation of the laws voted according to a democratic agreed upon process.
  • The separation powers (legislative, executive, judiciary) is at the base of modern democracy and a principle that should never be infringed.
  • It is mandatory that every government answers its political actions through parliamentary questions and regular transparent and democratic elections.
  • The Constitution is the mother of all laws and should not be violated or ignored under any circumstances.
  • Corruption and illicit wealth in all their forms should be fought and eradicated, and this can only be achieved through a real separation of powers and a judiciary system that is never a subject of any political, financial, or economical influence.

Environmental Ethics

  • Global warming is a very serious threat to the future of our planet and our generations, awareness in that sense needs to be more aggressive with a set of new laws that cut emissions and limit the environmental damage we are all causing.
  • New modern environmentally friendly measures related to recycling and waste segregation at the source should be enforced through new laws that help a fast and gradual preservation of our seas, waters, air, and environment.
  • Deforestation is one of the biggest threats our planet is facing hence the need to preserve our forests, ban tree cutting, plant more trees, and declare more green spaces and forests as natural reserves to guarantee their preservation.
  • Proceed to the rebuilding and to a better preservation of our marine life that has been suffering for years due to the massive industrialization of our world and our unconsciousness regarding the impact of this fact as well as massive tourism on our coasts and marine life.

Hand surgery is a distinct specialty, often shared with orthopedic, plastic, and reconstructive surgery. The hand is frequently overlooked and relegated to a secondary role, despite being fundamental to the human body and holding a special symbolic significance.

Its importance is comparable to that of other external organs, such as the face. It serves as the link between a person and the outside world, the first point of contact with others. It is the first to express anger as well as joy; it is both the recipient and the giver.
